One of the greatest priveleges I have is photographing families, particularly with their new additions. The lovely emotions that you get to capture truly well up out of the picture, and I, and my subjects enjoy the experience of photographing them and their family a great deal.

Flexible, Fun Contemporary Family Photography
Family portrait sessions are great fun. I like to provide families with images that reflect their style and which is contemporary but with a classic sense of style that will last for years, and give the viewer a great deal of pleasure when looking at my images.
We don't rush, I allow at least 90 minutes for our session, because you can never tell when a toddler is going to get over his or her crankiness, need food, a nappy change or anything, else, and if anyone is stressed or pushed for time then the results become less beautiful and tense. The best photography comes from rapport, and i seek to build that up with every family portrait session I do.
Working with Children and Animals
As a mother myself, and having a large family of small people, I am very much aware that children are as predictable and fun as the British weather. The key to being a great baby or family photographer is sometimes accepting that you have to wait for a sunny patch amongst the storms, in order to get the shots you want. Being able to work on the same level as your subject, whatever their age, is key to providing beauitful family photography, which I can either do on location or in my home studio near Stratford Upon Avon.
